Location
The Meliá Alto Aragón is located in the heart of the Aragon Pyrenees. Strategically located 1,750 metres above sea level in the upper part of the Formigal residential area, with commanding views of the natural and privileged setting, provoking sensations and emotions which will be hard to forget.
Skiing has a starring role here, and the hotel is a mere 3 kms from the Formigal ski slopes and provides easy access to the Panticosa ski resort.
Mountain activities and active tourism also have their part to play, and here in the middle of the valley and in less than 30 kms guests can enjoy pleasurable hikes along the numerous different routes and exciting and daring descents of the ravines.
Thanks to the improvements in the roads and highways, the majority of journeys can be done by motorway or highway: from the French border 6 kms, Sabiñanigo 36 kms, Jaca 51 kms, Jaca, Huesca 90 kms, Pamplona 156 kms, Zaragoza 170 kms, San Sebastián 240 kms, Barcelona 375 kms, Valencia 450 kms and Madrid 470 kms.

Rooms
The 134 rooms are distributed on three floors and all of them have magnificent views of the mountains and the valley. There are rooms available with windows, with a terrace or with a beautiful loft structure (on the top floor). Spacious, quiet and comfortable, available with a 2 by 2m double bed (on request) or two 1 by 2m single beds. Experience the comfort and the warmth of each and every one of them. The pleasant atmosphere of the room can also be sensed in the bathroom which is a relaxing and elegant space. All the rooms are equipped with satellite plasma TV with Canal +, desk, ADSL connection, large wardrobes, central heating, minibar, safe, magnifying mirror, hairdryer and bathroom amenities.
